The Meteor'88 is a low top sneaker inspired by the concept of retro-future. It celebrates the late 80’s vision of the future, combining both retro and modern design details. It is handcrafted from contrasting panels of premium leather and/or suede, a rubber cupsole and soft terry cotton or polyester lining. Pick your preferred colorway or customize your own pair. A clean and crisp white and powder pink sneaker, versatile and stylish. All the leathers used in our custom shoes are gold and silver rated by the Leather Working Group and adherent to the Leather Standard by OEKO-TEX®.

Shipping:

All of our products are made to order in a craft workshop in Portugal. After your order is processed, we try our best to dispatch them within 15 days and we will keep you informed about the entire process, from order to delivery.

Care: 

Plain Leather: Apply a thin layer of leather balm and once it’s dry, gently brush to keep the finish of the leather always in good conditions. Opt for softer hog bristles to make sure you don’t damage your sneakers. A leather protector spray is also an option to consider.

Suede: Use a brush to gently remove any dirt or dust. Brush in the direction of the fabric’s grain to avoid damaging it. Dry stains can be removed by using a white or brown gum eraser. If it doesn't work we advise you to visit your local cobbler and get additional advice.

Nubuck: Nubuck cloths are the best option to remove dirt and shiny spots. Wipe in several directions using circular motions and make sure you cover the entire nap area.

Rubber Soles: Clean the dirt with a dampened cloth and carefully soak the sole in a mixture of water and dishwashing soap. Make sure you don’t soak the upper part! Use a toothbrush with the mixture to scrub your soles. Once it’s done, dry the sneakers using a cloth.

Hello, I’m Eva Serraninho, I’m 16 years old, and I live in Alcains. I see myself as sincere, fun, and creative. I value personal growth, authenticity, and respect for others. I recognise that communication is something I can still improve.

My biggest dream is to become a criminal psychologist. When designing my sneakers, I chose the classic Meteor’88 model in light blue, as it conveys calm, tranquility, and peace. For me, this colour evokes the lightness and purity of the sky and water, helping to reduce stress and promote mental clarity. In the design, light blue visually expands spaces and conveys a sense of comfort and relaxation.

My experience in the iMAGINE programme was welcoming and transformative. I felt that I’m not alone in my thoughts and that it’s possible to build connections with others. I learned more about entrepreneurship, self-knowledge, and imagination, realising that we all have the potential to turn ideas into reality.
