Shipping:

All of our products are made to order in a craft workshop in Portugal. After your order is processed, we try our best to dispatch them within 15 days and we will keep you informed about the entire process, from order to delivery.

Care: 

Plain Leather: Apply a thin layer of leather balm and once it’s dry, gently brush to keep the finish of the leather always in good conditions. Opt for softer hog bristles to make sure you don’t damage your sneakers. A leather protector spray is also an option to consider.

Suede: Use a brush to gently remove any dirt or dust. Brush in the direction of the fabric’s grain to avoid damaging it. Dry stains can be removed by using a white or brown gum eraser. If it doesn't work we advise you to visit your local cobbler and get additional advice.

Nubuck: Nubuck cloths are the best option to remove dirt and shiny spots. Wipe in several directions using circular motions and make sure you cover the entire nap area.

Rubber Soles: Clean the dirt with a dampened cloth and carefully soak the sole in a mixture of water and dishwashing soap. Make sure you don’t soak the upper part! Use a toothbrush with the mixture to scrub your soles. Once it’s done, dry the sneakers using a cloth.

My name is Gibril Saidy and I was born in Gunjur, Gambia. I’m 17 years old. Between street games and afternoons cycling with my father, I discovered what true joy was. At school, I fell in love with maths, but life’s difficulties forced me to trade my notebooks for fishing and later construction work. Even so, I never stopped dreaming: I dreamed of football, school, and a better future for my mother.

My greatest act of courage was leaving Gambia. I boarded a boat with 81 people and faced the sea, hunger, fear, and loss for ten days. When I reached Spain, I realised I was alive and that the Dream continued. I kept going to Portugal, where I slept on the street, yet I never lost hope. That hope is what brought me to Fundão. Here I found Matriz, Clube Escolhas, CAF, and people who welcomed me with kindness. I learned Portuguese, made friends, scored goals, received invitations to train at bigger clubs, and regained my belief in myself.

My story began to change, and so did I. Taking part in the DiVERGE programme was a way to put my strength and journey into a pair of sneakers. I chose light-coloured sneakers with a green sole, the colour of my favourite club, Sporting. 

Today, I continue to fight with the same determination I had running through the streets of Gunjur. Every goal I score answers my mother’s question: “How can you dream of playing football if we can’t even afford sneakers?” … today I have sneakers customised by me. I dream because I believe. I dream because I fight. I dream because one day I want to bring my family close to me. And while I run after the ball, I also run after the life I want to build.
