The Meteor'88 is a low top sneaker inspired by the concept of retro-future. It celebrates the late 80’s vision of the future, combining both retro and modern design details. It is handcrafted from contrasting panels of premium leather and/or suede, a rubber cupsole and soft terry cotton or polyester lining. Pick your preferred colorway or customize your own pair. A clean and crisp white and powder pink sneaker, versatile and stylish. All the leathers used in our custom shoes are gold and silver rated by the Leather Working Group and adherent to the Leather Standard by OEKO-TEX®.

All of our products are made to order in a craft workshop in Portugal. After your order is processed, we try our best to dispatch them within 15 days and we will keep you informed about the entire process, from order to delivery.Â

Care:Â
Plain Leather: Apply a thin layer of leather balm and once it’s dry, gently brush to keep the finish of the leather always in good conditions. Opt for softer hog bristles to make sure you don’t damage your sneakers. A leather protector spray is also an option to consider.
Suede: Use a brush to gently remove any dirt or dust. Brush in the direction of the fabric’s grain to avoid damaging it. Dry stains can be removed by using a white or brown gum eraser. If it doesn't work we advise you to visit your local cobbler and get additional advice.
Nubuck:Â Nubuck cloths are the best option to remove dirt and shiny spots. Wipe in several directions using circular motions and make sure you cover the entire nap area.
Rubber Soles: Clean the dirt with a dampened cloth and carefully soak the sole in a mixture of water and dishwashing soap. Make sure you don’t soak the upper part! Use a toothbrush with the mixture to scrub your soles. Once it’s done, dry the sneakers using a cloth.

|section-left|My name is Nihar and I’m from Gujarat, India. I grew up in the city of Vadodara, where the streets smell of spices, the days pass slowly, and life flows peacefully. My childhood was simple: riding my bike with friends, playing in the neighbourhood, and finding happiness in small things. It was a calm life, filled with the love of my parents.
I grew up with a dream: to study abroad and build a successful life. I believed from an early age that outside India I would have more opportunities to grow and secure a better future. That confidence is what made me leave.
My journey to Portugal was smooth, without major difficulties, as I always had faith in myself and in the path I was following. The first days in Portugal were harder than I expected. The language was strange, I felt alone, and apart from my parents, I knew no one. Everything was new. Yet, it was through this challenge that I found growth.
Over time, I put down roots, made friends, and learned to see Portugal as home. Today I have my home, my comfort, and a path I feel is right.
Taking part in the DiVERGE programme was another opportunity to express who I am. I chose a model that reflects the serenity of my personality and the calm of the place where I grew up — light colours, simple lines, a style that conveys peace. These sneakers represent my journey: calm, confident, and guided by faith in the future. I want to continue learning, growing, and achieving my goals.
